Came scouting Kodiak as a venue/event planner and will never ever use any of Shoreline properties. Saw a couple of other Shoreline properties and anticipated so much more. At the same price, Rogue Wave is a complete let-down. It is located on the busy Reznokof that is heavy traffic all day long. You can't view the Mill Bay unless you sleep upside down - beware the stinky feet smell on the mattress. If you are environmentally sensitive, know that the entrance is just feet from the laundry room, so noise and stench is in your future. Owner is non-responsive, accusatory, and a general bad host who can't accept accidents for what they are. Has no compassion or understanding of ADA who we serve. All wood edges in apartment were gummy. Dust bunnies abound as does numerous pieces and parts of things busted in the past but never thoroughly fixed. Appliances have not been thoroughly cleaned. in years. Linoleum kitchen floor damaged beyond repair should be replaced. Windows were not washed in months. Cost of washer & dryer are not posted. Double headed shower so appealing but does not have any obvious switch to tun on on faucet below. When switching knob, hear water wanting to come through, but no way to access it. Dinky tiny tub whose water is so particular takes minutes to find hot and keep it on. Great kitchen, but no dish cloths nor additional drying cloths and no potato peeler nor cutting board. Subtle retro style spoiled by too many plastic plants and magazines. Rude exit email, Trash cannot be left in apartment - take it somewhere down the street. Fill and run the dishwasher. Checkout is 11a - firm. Wasted mega time here and will never again, Jessica.

Add some usb outlets on the bed stand lights. It was hard to find a place to charge the phone in the main bedroom.

The place I had was a 2BR apartment converted into a B&B. I was not initially impressed when I first got to the B&B. But remember the old saying "Don't judge a book by its cover!"? Like most of the places in Kodiak, the harsh environment of the winters there wreak havoc on the exteriors of any building. The inside was very nice, clean and comfortable. The B&B is located near a bay with easy access to the beach. The view was amazing. Jessica was a phenomenal host! Her greatest attribute... patience with an unexperienced B&B guest!!!

I didn't like the length of my stay. I was only able to stay for 2 days before I had to move into a hotel.
