EEJs Beautiful 2 bed Apartment - Sheffield centre

The location is fabulous, 20 minute walk from the train station and no more than 20 minutes walk from pretty much anywhere else in the city. All comms with the owners were great, we had a bit of back and forth over arrival times and they did everything in their power to accommodate us. Being on the 12 floor of the building means you have great views of one side of the city.

No one could figure out how to make the shower in the main bathroom work, which meant take a bath or do without. Not the end of the world, maybe some instructions how to operate it would be a good idea.

Fabulous location with a large balcony overlooking the city. Lovely spacious and bright apartment with two bathrooms and parking at the site. All so convenient and good value. Would definitely stay again.

* Within walking distance to the town centre * Good view of the city from the balcony/living room and bedrooms * Multi storey car park with allocated parking space (permit provided to use in there) and get into the building from the car park (parking on the 4th floor) * Has a lift in the building (flat is on the 12th floor)

With this review, I might get a confrontational response from the owners like other reviews before me but I'm still sharing my experience. We had a few messages with the owners during the stay and I wasn't able to reach them on the phone. * All the issues mentioned by the reviews before are still present at this property. * The address shown in the ad is not the property address and it would have been useful to know this prior to booking the accommodation. This is the back of the property where the gate to the parking is located. Give yourself at least 30 mins to figure out how to check-in and park the car. * No number or property name at the accommodation front or back or where the key is located. Pictures of the entrance, parking gate and key location would have been useful. * Key is located at a completely different address at the other end of the street in a random wall. A map was provided but it didn't provide any more information than a map to the location on sat nav. * Previous reviews of doors with high key hole and boarded up where it was broken into leaves a very bad and unsafe first impression on the flat. * Previous review of the unclean freezer is still the case with every shelf being covered in thick ice. * No hot water during the day as it is timed but we weren't told about this prior to the stay or how to turn it on during the day. We messaged them about this and turned on the boost. * There were no fans in the property and it was a very hot few days. I messaged them and they informed me it was ordered from Amazon and if we're in the property the next day we could have it, if not they're working and can only collect it and drop it at the property after our stay. Awaiting the owner's delivery is not the responsibility of guests and we weren't there to stay in the flat 24/7. * Roadworks are happening all around and within the street of the property with the road closed at one end at the street for the parking.
