Secluded Offgrid Cabin w/ Sunset View & Fireplace

We were so lucky with the weather. Incredible sunrises and sunsets. The view out across the countryside from the cabin was stunning. We wanted time out from the world and that is exactly what we got. The cabin had mostly everything we needed for a stress free relaxing time. 😌

We are new to being totally off grid and wasn't sure, to begin with , how the whole set up of the cabin worked with regards to operating the electrical/water/heating system and when an alarm went off at 3am telling us we had low power on the first night, we were a bit disconcerted trying to figure out how to turn off the alarm and then to work out what we needed to do to recharge the battery. A simple manual or guide would have helped.

Perfect weekend away, very relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend. Will definitely be booking again asap

An actual Secluded Cabin and the Location was perfect!

Fantastic view and a great secluded location. Huge viewing window by bed was a nice touch. Good provisions for cooking and utensils. A real escape, didnt see another soul.

Toilet is cramped and not pleasant to use at all. Last visitors bodily hair still in the bedding. Not the cleanest stay, lots of ants inside of cabin, inside sugar etc. Some bits need replacing/repairing, bench is wobbly, fire surround severly cracked etc. Not bad overall but I would expect to pay less or be a bit better on cleanliness and maintenance for the cost.

Location was great, with good views day or night. If watching wildlife, stars and fire are your thing, I recommend you try this.

I'm not a huge fan of the eco toilet, I know we are supposed to be off grid, so just my personal view.

It was beautiful we felt like we were a million miles away from anyone or anything. We had everything there we needed. It was simplistic and beautiful and that big window beside the bed was so romantic, waking up and just looking straight out to the wildlife and countryside. You couldn't ask for more.

The bench was rather wobbly outside, so if anything just needs securing so you don't fall of but that did not stop us enjoying the fire pit and having dinner out there.

Honestly I loved everything , it was beautiful and it was private It was so peaceful and honestly I want to go back already It was one on one time with a cosy fire and a beautiful sunset

Nothing to dislike
