"Absolutely glorious stay!"

10.0

Our stay at Susan was everything we needed and more! It was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life and enabled us to truly switch off and enjoy the simple things in life - a cup of tea outside, chatting and enjoying each other's company without the distractions of normal life and technology.

The cabin was super hot when we arrived - I believe this to be due to the warm weather and the sun beaming down on a well-insulated cabin meant it just got very warm inside - it did take about 4-5hrs to fully cool down in there with the windows wide open - we couldn't have the door open to air it out in case our pooch got out. It could be an idea to keep the blinds closed when the day is warm which we did when we went out for the day. Apart from that it was an amazing stay!

"Nice place to chill and wind down with minimal disturbance"

10.0

Does what it says on the tin. Camping without the need for a tent. Lovely and secluded. Away from any noise or light pollution.

Outside space was uneven which meant the picnic bench was not level and we had to balance it precariously on logs so our wine glasses didn’t slide off. Picky, I know. But that really was the only thing and was really a minor annoyance.

"A peaceful stay in a well equipt cabin which was in a beautiful secluded location"

7.0

We loved the location. We were lucky enough to see a clear night of stars which was stunning. We liked the seclusion. We liked that the cabin had water and electricity. The big window for the view was spectacular. Very good kitchen facilities.

It wasn’t immediately obvious how to turn on the electricity. Parking here wasn’t ideal in the very wet conditions, even with the gripping mats provided we were wheel spinning in mud. A window by the toilet would have been ideal, or separate toilet away from living area. A wider path of cut grass to the cabin would of been helpful. A covered area for eating and cooking outside would also greatly improve the facilities (we had a very wet stay!)
