Le Palm House has two bedrooms with the breathtaking view over lake Como

The view - absolutely amazing, looking over Bellagio and Menaggio. Outdoor table, chairs and washing line! Parking spot close by for the vehicle we had hired. Perledo old town and two local bars were an easy walk away. Kitchen was well set up - oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge. Washing machine also.

Two of the beds were low to the ground. Shower didn’t get very hot. Two sets of keys would have been handy.

Doskonały widok z okien, śniadanie na tarasie z widokiem na góry i jezioro Como - bezcenne. Bardzo czysto. Doskonały kontakt z właścicielem obiektu oraz osobą wręczającą/odbierającą klucze (whatsapp). Jakieś sto metrów od apartamentu w dół drogi jest restauracja, ale czynna od 17. O ile dobrze pamiętam w apartamencie nie ma mydła w łazience, więc trzeba pamiętać aby mieć swoje. Jest zmywarka, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia i rozwijana roleta przeciwsłoneczna na balkonie. Bardzo miły gest z powitalnym Prosecco w lodówce. W komplecie dostaniecie taką lokalną roczną kartę parkingową, która upoważnia do parkowania na wyznaczonych miejscach w całym Perledo - nie ma jednego konkretnego miejsca.

Wybierając ten apartament trzeba sobie zdawać sprawę z kilku niedogodności tzn w sezonie może być problem z parkingiem. Co prawda dostajesz kartę parkingową, ale miejsc w okolicy nie jest za dużo - tak naprawdę są dwie opcje - 4 miejsca parkingowe pod restauracją 100 m (ale w czasie działania restauracji ciężko tam zaparkować) i niżej ok 300 m od apartamentu jest parking na ok 20 aut. W ciągu dnia zawsze znajdziecie miejsce, ale raz gdy wróciliśmy wieczorem ok 19 to mieliśmy problem, co prawda nadal były dwa wolne miejsca, ale na zjeździe do parkingu, a ponieważ nasze auto jest długie (Passat Variant) musieliśmy zaparkować w poprzek. Druga rzecz jest taka, że do Varenny pieszo jest daleko - na nogach w tą i z powrotem raczej nie za bardzo - schodzi się ok 40-50 min, wchodzenia sobie nie wyobrażam, mimo, że codziennie robię długie spacery. Niby jest tam jakiś autobus ale kursuje niezbyt często, a o taksówkę trudno - my byliśmy w sierpniu. Więc musisz zjechać autem, zaparkować na płatnym parkingu wielopoziomowym w Varennie, a później po zwiedzaniu wjechać z powrotem do apartamentu - ważne, aby nie wrócić zbyt późno, bo będzie problem z parkingiem.

The apartment has one of the best views of the lake! Situated in a quaint town of Perledo, 4 mins drive away from Castello di Vezio and about 10 mins drive away from beautiful Varenna. The terrace is the highlight where you can chill with a vino and take in the breathtaking views of Lake Como. La Dolce Vita.

Parking is a challenge on the twisty turvy roads, and if there’s no space nearby (in high season) then you have to prepare to walk uphill.

Centralised in perledo Veranna, which is what we wanted. Has a small terraced front garden overlooking Como. Franco the hostel was really nice and very informative. Getting to Bellagio etc is very easy from here.

Location was reason why we paid over the odds for coming here. However, without a car it's very difficult to wind back down or up the mountain road. Facilities for making breakfast good but need topping up and perhaps more variety as we booked for family of 4. Needs modernising as its very dated. Beds not comfortable at all Currently parking on Varenna is near impossible due to ongoing works.. but this has nothing to do with the stay..Just advice

The terrace and the view were absolutely amazing. Spending time on the balcony was incredibly enjoyable and relaxing. Although the area generally has parking issues, they kindly suggested a nearby spot where we could park our car without any problems. It was a lovely gesture that they surprised us with breakfast. They also allowed us a late check-out so we could enjoy the terrace and the view a bit longer — that meant a lot to us and made us really happy. Hopefully, we’ll meet again. We highly recommend this place — if you're in the area, it's truly the best!
