Amazing view of the balcony. Spacious flat with all facilities.

If you have a car it is all fine. Otherwise you have to be a good walker.

Absolutely beautiful apartment. It has everything you need. Silvia the host was very very helpful with everything! There is a handy guide book with instructions for everything inside the apartment and activities to do in the area. Highly recommend staying here!

"It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful location but just be aware that transportation might be difficult."

The property was clean, comfortable , and well equipped. The view from the porch is beautiful! We were very glad for the washing machine and the dishwasher.

We were disappointed that we didn’t always have hot water. When we communicated our problem we did get a fairly prompt response but when we wanted a hot shower early in the morning we had to wait, which meant we couldn’t get a hot shower on two mornings of our stay. Also, transportation to and from the property can be difficult and slow. There are only three taxi drivers in the community. If they’re busy you’re out of luck. The public bus is an option but can be very crowded. The “Night Bus” which travels between Varenna and the property after 9pm, is a small van that only holds a few people. Since everything closes early in Varenna, you may have to wait a very long time out in the cold and rain. Renting a car would solve that problem.

"Superb"

Wonderful location. Lovely and clean.large sunny terrace.

Only issue was the shower. The glass screen needs replacing and water temperature tepid.

We like the village and the view over the lake and castle. Very nice walk from there to the lake. Overall, we had a fantastic stay as the surroundings are so beautiful.

No shadow on the terrasse, so in the afternoon, you can’t use it before dusk in the summer. The car parking is not close.
