Dolgellau Townhouse 2 Minutes to Town & Mountains

It was fabulous- we all loved it.

The hill, and parking and off loading the luggage was challenging. But we managed .

Lovely house, well furnished and very homely.

Parking! We had to park in a car park (free) about 10 minutes walk. But this was not a major problem as the narrow streets were not designed for cars.

We stayed at the property for 3 nights with family that was over from Australia. The property was excellent with everything that you need. There was so much kitchen equipment we were very impressed. Lots of books and games for children. Very well thought through. We would definitely recommend this property and stay here again. Oh and the views, just wow!.

A little difficult parking to unload with the narrow roads but this doesn’t take away anything from the actual property.

The steps down to the kitchen are a little tricky - not much headroom, and steep. Mind your head!

Great we turned up early, the cleaner let us in to drop our belongings off. Size of the beds was great and slept brilliantly, had Christmas dinner in the well equipped kitchen, we all enjoyed our stay and our little dog Bert loved it.

Had a couple of issues which the team stayed inContact with us, we was happy with their help.

Breakfast not included. Loved Dolgellau and the house although it is on a steep slope which might be challenging for some.

The kitchen was a bit gloomy and on a floor beneath the living room. Two of the gas hob knobs came off easily and it was difficult to assess whether the gas was switched off and we clearly smelt gas in the kitchen twice.

Lovely property 5 minutes walking distance to the local amenities and plenty of great walks nearby. Nicely kitted out with everything you could need. The beds were very comfortable, the bath was lovely after a long day walking. I would highly recommend this property.

Travelling with children, I found it difficult unloading and loading the car. This is the case with most properties in Dolgellau as the streets are extremely narrow and on-road parking is difficult everywhere so we knew what to expect.

Location a problem with parking

The furniture in the lounge was very poor very uncomfortable needs replacing. One of the bedrooms was damp it had a dehumidifier in it but we found mushroom type mould growing on carpets. The lounge smelt very musty,we found the furniture so uncomfortable that we sat in kitchen.
