UB Friends Hostel & Affordable, Valuable Tour & Airport Shuttle Service

The staff is nice, the location is right in the center and their airport transfer service can sometimes be your only option to make it to the airport, especially if you have a late or early flight.

They have just 2 bathrooms for 6 or 7 rooms. No matter what, you'll eventually queue for it.

Impeccable location, very close to the Sukhbataar Square. Facilities are clean and well kept. They offer airport pick up and tour also. It has made my solo trip to Mongolia feels safe and smooth. Every cabin is equipped with lamp, electric plug, and curtains. Wifi works well.

There are a few staircase upon entry, please be mindful if you are carrying heavy luggage. One female bathroom for all and no full kitchen.

My flight arrived early in the morning and the hostel let me check in at 8am to take a nap before exploring the city. The host also helped me organise a SIM card and taxi and answered my questions about traveling in Mongolia. The location is very good.

I didn't get a key to the front door, so i had to ring every time to be let in. But i never had to wait long.

The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a cozy common area that was perfect for relaxing and meeting other travelers.

It was genuinely one of the best stays I had in my entire life! The hostel is very clean and the localisation is amazing, just a few minutes walk to the central square and the most important museums. I can also highly recommend the one day, private tour they organise, you can see the outside of Ulaanbaatar comfortably and in an amazing atmosphere! Last, but the most important thing, I want to thank Ireedui and Mina for making it not only a comfortable stay but also a very good experience. Talking to them about life in Mongolia and exchanging our hobbies felt totally like talking to a long-known friend. Thank you again!
