Great location, can walk into the woodland paths. Not far to get to attractions like sculpture park and symonds yat. Lovely pub and friendly staff., well equipped wee place!

Bedroom a little dark as window is into a covered area with noise from some kind of vent outside when window open. But actually found it quite soothing to sleep, like white noise!

Locations was good for us and free parking

The bed mattress was really uncomfortable and poor quality

It's a very cosy and comfortable place that was clean and lovely to stay in for a few nights. It has a cute pub attached that serves great food and drinks (especially the ham, eggs and chips!). Would definitley stay again when we're in the area.

Perfect location - I met up with friends and it was very close to them. I also had some lovely walks with my dog. It was nice and quiet for sleeping although it was quite warm

I liked everything - the only thing that would have improved our stay would be if there was a little grassy dog garden for final bedtime toilet purposes but there is a grassy corner 2 mins down the road (turn right out the car park).

This little bolthole totally exceeded our expectations. Amazing location on the edge of the forest but what really made it for us was how friendly everyone was. From the owners and their lovely daughter to the regulars in the pub. It was fantastic value for money and we had a truly lovely relaxing 2 night break. Back at work this morning with batteries on full charge. Thank you so much, we hope to come back soon😁
