Fantastic accommodation in a perfect location. The staff and locals in the pub were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our dog was welcomed and loved the attention! All in all more than we hoped for!

Well equipped, quiet, cosy holiday let, in a convenient location to explore the Forest of Dean area. Ajoining pub serves beautiful home cooked food, which is excellent value for money. Staff & locals were very friendly.

Very minor thing, but water took a long time to run hot in the shower, there appears to be no indication on control of which way is hot & which is cold, perhaps laminated guidance could be provided. Once temperature is sorted water pressure is very good. TV in the bedroom would be good so you can relax on the bed and watch.

It was a small but well thought out space. Very clean. Only a microwave and a dry air fryer to cook with though. But that was ok for the couple of nights we were there.

No communication on how to get the key. Terrible lack of sound insulation.

Quiet location central to where we wanted to be. It had everything we needed for a short weekend break. We were very grateful for the fan as it was a warm weekend.

Only real criticism is that it could have been a little cleaner but other than that it was lovely. If you have many dogs staying perhaps making a small grass exercise area would really appeal to people for the dogs to use in the morning/before bed (our dog didn’t like toileting in the car park).

This was a compact , well appointed holiday let. it had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. it is set below a popular pub and comprises a bed/bath with a small living kitchen, we only breakfasted and slept there, so plenty big enough for us. Nice walks roundabout. the owners are helpful and friendly, made us very welcome in their pub!

great location for the Forest of Dean. all you need to have a break with the dogs. good pub next door

Well situated for the Forest of Dean and the surrounding areas.

We liked it all.

This was a great little find. Sue,Andy and all their locals in their pub, which is adjoined to the holiday let, made us and our dogs feel very welcome. We enjoyed the food & family atmosphere in the pub. We would stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Lovely accommodation for two people and a dog. Forest walks nearby and cycle centre 12 mins drive away. Safe storage for bikes. Pub handy for some beers after a day out. Would definitely go back
