Clean, private and on a bus route. The space was very homey and the host Sergio was pretty responsive.

There were bugs and mosquitoes around. The bed was also too soft.

Clean, spacious, ample cooking facilities

The apartment was very spacious and clean. There was a full kitchen. We only used the refrigerator since all our meals were with relatives. All appliances were there.

No place to hang towels. The instructions we got after booking and confirmation was that there was some construction, by the apartment. That we could park on the street in front of the house or the driveway. It might be easier to go across the lawn to enter the apartment. Well the construction was and still is major. We came after dark and did not see the full extent of the construction. Not knowing how to maneuver all the dug areas, we walked across the lawn. It was not a flat lawn it was hilly. My problem with all of this was a big challenge that night and each day we left and returned home. I use a cane and walker. I never indicated this. However, it was not easy to carry our luggage,, etc to the apt. He has to carry all the baggage and rotator across this lawn . The next 2 evenings he could enter the dug up section with his truck and load or unload stuff. The whole outside was a great challenge. By going across the lawn you had to go down 3 steps, no rail but could hold on to bricks to descend. I discovered after a few days that there was a way to walk to the car in the driveway. A sort of walkway. If I did that I needed to walk down another set of stairs with 4 steps. There were 2 rails, but only the left one was secure. All in all I managed but it was a challenge for me and somewhat for my husband.

The location was perfect in that it was close to my family. The apartment was clean and pleasant.

The bed turned out to be not good for my back, it was too soft, too many pillow layers. I never have back pain so was surprised by having pain after a few night’s sleeping in the bed.

The apartment was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for making meals. Convenient bus stop in front of house for going to metro, whole foods and downtown silver spring. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Host was friendly and responsive when I had a question. A very pleasant stay.
