"Spirit of Malta" Historic Maltese Townhouse by the sea

Muy bien ubicado para desplazarte a cualquier excursión porque el transporte público pasa cerca. Además tiene buenas playas muy cerca.

Nos alojamos una semana con el desayuno incluido. Pensábamos que nos iban a traer todos los días el desayuno para los 6 huéspedes, pero la realidad fue que sólo 2 días un repartidor nos trajo algo de lo que pedimos. El mobiliario del jardín estaba sucio desde el primer día. No lo utilizamos.

La proproetaria è molto gentile e sempre disponibile. La location è perfetta, si trova parcheggio in pochi minuti e tutto è a portata di mano Le camere da letto sono comode In merito alla colazione considerando che le case non offrono questo servizio lo valuto positivamente. La proprietaria ti fa una piccola spesa una volta a settimana. ovvio non basta ma è comunque un gesto carino che fa piacere ricevere.

La cucina e il bagno non sono assolutamente all'altezza della casa, vecchi, poco funzionali e non proprio puliti. Peccato perche davvero la casa potrebbe cambiare aspetto con bagno e cucina ben tenuti La casa non ha nessuna vista, il giardino esterno è inutilizzabile per i continui lavori, per il sole battente e per le zanzare, era difficile pure uscire a stendere. Nel complesso pero queste cose a parte siamo stati bene, il prezzo è competitivo e non abbiamo avuto nessun problema.

The host is very friendly and helpful for any information or request. The house is comfortable and well located, close to the bus stops and Balluta Bay/St. Giulian.

There were few forks at the arrival but Inna told us where to buy them and she reimbursed the amount.

The house is great, however, neighbouring house very noisy, kept awake until house guests left at 2am.

Parking is extremely hard to find, it took us 15 minutes to extract the key from the lock box, to reach the sleeping area you have to drag your luggage up 21 steps on a curved stair case . Beds extremely uncomfortable , the AC was only working in one finger three rooms

The townhouse is beautiful and full of character set in an ideal location near the waterfront....plenty of parking spots on the surrounding roads Inna is very helpful and thoughtful even putting up a lovely Christmas tree and leaving a nice bottle of fizz! Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen too Wifi good once rebooted

Only one problem with my 7 night booking... Unfortunately the over the bath shower was very weak and wouldn't stay on so unable to shower during my stay and no there was no bath plug :(.... I had read in previous reviews that there was a fault but had hoped it would have been repaired or ideally replaced with an electric shower ..l stayed in Sicily a few nights so was able to wash my hair there

Inna, the host, was very helpful and responsive. Late check-in was no problem and the apartment / townhouse had more amenities than we needed : the kitchen and refrigerator went unused. A friendly Triceratops furniture item watches over the hallway. Adapters for electric outlets (SchuKo) were available throughout the rooms. The kitchen even had USB(-A) wall-sockets. There is also a small garden / open area and a washing machine. The windows have insect mesh screens, so you can open them without worrying about anything small flying in.

Water pressure downstairs is fine. In the upstairs bathroom it was too low for showering, in my personal opinion. The hosts are looking to have that fixed and you can always take a bath instead.
