"Spirit of Malta" Historic Maltese Townhouse by the sea

It is a new property on booking.com and the owner is very responsive, kind and helpful. The value for money was excellent, the size of the house also. There were four of us, including a teenager and a grandma. We all had a comfortable place to sleep. Could sleep two couples and two kids. There is a large kitchen/dinner and a table to eat outside. The owner made sure we had all the little things you need when traveling, including salt, tea, oil, washing up stuff etc. there is a washing machine, microwave, oven, fridge freezer. All you need for a comfortable stay The location is perfect, close to the sea front/ promenade, bus stops, convince shop, atm, bars, restaurants and a church. Walking distance from St Juliens, the mall and Sliema Ferries. Not far from Lidl and many other well stocked supermarkets. (10 min walk or €4 Bolt). Good location for Valetta. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. Thank you

We truly had a wonderful time, only a few minor things to mention - The house could do with a bit of a clean and the bathroom/kitchen are due an update but it didn't spoil our stay. This is a charming historic house and has many lovely features. The only issue for us was the close proximity of a primary school - children seem to arrive early and sing a lot, which is fine if you like children sing you awake 😊
