Beco do Paço by Porto Dream Stays

Good location in a quiet area close to center, restaurants, parks etc. The pool was small but nice. Kitchen, sheets and towels were nice. Nice shower with good hot water all day.

It is tiny. We were so called upgraded by Booking.com to a deluxe but it’s a tiny room, you can barely pass the bed with a balcony you can only stand out in but can’t sit. There are vertical steps up to a small bed over the bathroom which increases the sq foot of room but you will never use. Bathroom is compact. Overall just feels poky and we are not big or hard to please.

Location was quite good being walking distance to most sights. Pool was nice but relatively small.

Our code didn’t work for the front door so we were stranded outside waiting until someone come out. We eventually got a second door code for the front door after messaging the hosts but when checking in it is the last thing you want. The 2 bedroom apartments only have 1 bedroom and a small nook with a curtain in the lounge, a bit misleading to call it a bedroom. The bathroom is tiny and the basin is not in the bathroom and instead in the hall. Lots of random crap(towels, water bottles, etc..) clogging the main corridors. Poorly stocked kitchen, only had 1 mug for a 2 bedroom apartment.

Although the flat is very well located in relation to Porto city centre, the area is very very quiet.

The pool and water were dirty; it really doesn’t invite you to use it. It’s much smaller than the photos on the booking website would suggest

Building works really bad and noisy. Instructions for key code terrible, balcony that you couldn’t get on as door broken, view a brick wall, insecure block, strange man walking through the pool broke a table and left glass everywhere. Apartment not equipped with the inventory it said it had. Needed an iron straight away due to my plans, no iron, arrived the next day when it was too late.If could give zero I would. No one in the property to ask for help. When needed help and phoned number no one answered. Left the property half way through. Never done that before. Very sad and disappointing.
