Beco do Paço by Porto Dream Stays

The property made clever use of the space to get this apartment (and the others) into the location along with a pool. It had all the amenities needed for a short stay in the city.

The stairs to the bedroom were very steep and not fun when going for a middle of the night toilet trip. Sadly the area surrounding the property was in the middle of major roadworks which made accessing the property a little bit challenging.

Its nice having a pool in the middle of porto, but I got to a reserved room with balcony, and the balcony door didn't open, so I was moved to a ground studio which was small and very basic

The area is under construction , ask the host about it because it prevents Uber from getting to your spot I also expected to have an understanding regarding check out from the staff because of the trouble during check in, but I was asked for an additional 20 euro charge if I want 1 hour of delay for check out Could have been better

Great location, swimmingpool was great, I didnt have time to explore more, but everything was perfect. You have all you need inside the hpuse. Quiet and relaxing, near restaurants, wine bars and shopping area.

The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The aircon is very nice for those not used to the Portuguese heat. The WiFi is fast and the TV has all the apps you might want. The location is perfect for a vacation in Porto. The shower is very comfortable and has the three things I want (shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner)

It's not entirely obvious how you can get clean towels every day. It seems you have to just ask if you run across a staff member during the day. While the room has a bunch of things you would want in a house (stove, oven, cutlery, etc.), it's also missing some things you would expect in a house. For example: A way to clean the floor without dirtying your only sponge, A bottle opener, Space in the cupboards for ingredients if you actually wanted to use the stove to cook anything. There is a small convertible sofa downstairs, however the two full beds upstairs (that actually have closets) are set right against each other, and have planks as nightstands next to them meaning you can't actually move the beds apart. That makes them more akin to one bed with two blankets.

Nice properties and pool area lovely for relaxing. Location is good for seeing Porto.

Aircon not working when checking in around 3pm on the Friday. Asked to fix straight away and this wasn’t done until the Saturday evening. More than half our stay without working air con. There was also quite a bit of mould around the window in living area and in the bathroom. Also lack of storage for cases etc.
