Above & Beyond Houtbay

Beautiful location overlooking the town and the bay (from a distance).

It was clean and we were central to all tourist attractions that we wanted to see.

The location. It’s a couple of minutes away by foot to the wonderful dunes which lead to an amazing isolated beach.

It’s run down and needs an update.

Second stay at this property, always love the homely feeling. It’s a home away from home, the decor and all the appliances. Beautiful view of the ocean, mountains and Chapman’s Peak. Great sunrise and sunsets.

As per my last stay, would be great if the property invested in heating appliances. Having stayed in May and August the cold is severe in the apartment. I’m May it was tolerable but in August it’s unbearable. A few heaters would do the trick.

Very Spacious, and very comfortable space to relax, with everything you need for our stay. The kitchen is well equiped for longer stays. Beds had crisp clean linnen and very comfortable. Rooms were decorated with style with the added bonus of a magical view from the main bedroom! Sent

We arived after dark and struggled to find the entrance as there is no signage visible There was some exta or damaged furniture on the porch that was out of place and made the first impression not as good should the porch have been left tidy. The garden need some attention although not major and did not impact our stay as it was quite cold and we did not spend time outside.

The property was bigger than expected. Everything was so comfortable, from the beds to the lounge. The view is beautiful from both balconies. There is many attraction areas and restaurants. The place was clean and tidy, even the outside area was well kept. Would love to go back in summer days.
