The Old Inn Retreat

The mobile home was absolutely lovely, nicely decorated and accessorised and kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were really comfy and the 2 singles were proper sized bed, not the reduced ones often found in vans. Toilet was a big snug but perfectly fine and the shower room was fine with a powerfully hot shower. Outside was well looked after and offered a beautiful garden area and lovely sitting area. Wasn't dog secure but I had taken my extended garden leads so no problem.

Unfortunately the pub next to the accommodation has shut so no food available within walking distance. The red lion near by needs to be booked, but we couldn't get in sat and it's shut sun night. We ended up with a take away from the Chinese on sat and drove to Horncastle for tea on Sun - we don't cook when we're on holiday! Nothing we didn't like with the actual accommodation though except poor Internet and just basic telly stations.

Quiet, lovely and clean. Very comfy beds. Even gave us a welcome pack of milk, bread, jam, juice. Pub next door, lovely food and good price for meal. Good parking spaces.

Beautiful location in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, great place to stay to explore both city and coast. A well equipped holiday home, comfortable furniture and a great outside space too.

Steve and Angela who own the property are the nicest couple. The Hundleby Inn next door is a fabulous restaurant. The whole stay was wonderful. Everything was thoughtfully provided. Thank you so much

Only small thing was that it wasn't possible to drive right up to lodge. Have to walk a short distance back and forth with cases though we were kindly offered a trolley to assist.
