The location was excellent. Breakfast was very nice. Building was beautiful. Staff was wonderful, especially Antonio. He went above and beyond for us !!!

A hotel with lots of history and charm. Antonio the desk clerk was amazing in helping with anything we needed. was very fluent in English, knew a lot about the history of this hotel, helped with luggage, served an amazing breakfast. could not of asked for anything more. Small boutique hotel with 6 suites all with their own character and design. walking distance to Cruise port and city centre.

Location is good especially if you are on a cruise. Can walk across to cruise terminal

Breakfast Never got told what was on offer for breakfast so they just brought out an assortment, if they had asked us it would have saved waste as we didn’t eat much of what they gave us. Not really into continental breakfast. No kettle in room but did ask for hot water.

The hotel feels like stepping into a museum—every corner tells a story and exudes its own unique beauty. The staff were incredibly attentive, with Rodrigo standing out for his constant willingness to help and his unfailing politeness. We especially appreciated the complimentary minibar. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered stunning views of the River Tagus. Breakfast was exceptional, featuring fresh, healthy options alongside indulgent treats. Simply being in this hotel makes you feel transported to another era, a truly unforgettable experience. Can’t wait to be back!

We had to pay for an umbrella that was lost during a visit to a restaurant.

We loved every aspect of this hotel. Despite its central location, it’s wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delightful, offering fresh and healthy options. The staff were attentive and polite, making us feel truly welcome. The interiors are stunning, and the rooms are exceptionally spacious and comfortable.

Our room had a glass bathroom, hence lacking privacy.

The only downside is it’s hard to find Taxis cannot get directly to it. You have to walk up stairs to the door that is tucked into a corner. Had to ask a local where it was -had our luggage so difficult I would suggest calling the hotel when u are dropped off for help with the bags

What a grand place to stay! Service excellent
