SIThe accommodation definitely exceeded our expectations. Clean, very nicely furnished V. In the shared kitchen you can serve coffee, make tea and have a snack. The host is very friendly.
USSogni D'Oro is the perfect place to spend your Agrigento holiday. Centrally located in the historical center near all the attractions, restaurants and enotecas, the train station, and the bus station. The bus is very convenient to visiting the Valley of the Temples and other interesting cities/towns. The room was comfortable with the timing of radiators for heat, and towel/linen service was equal to that of a luxury hotel. The host Guiseppe is the best, entirely focused on making your stay comfortable while also providing loads of information/tips on local sightseeing.
The bed was adequately comfortable, but foam mattresses aren't our preference. They seem prevalent in Italy, probably because they can be folded to get through the very tight spaces of the typical housing in historical city centers.
FRI liked everything! The location is great, right in the center of the town. The apartment is well decorated, clean and warm (which is important as it's in winter now). There are coffee, tea, water and deserts already prepared. There's a big terrace. The room is spacious for a couple. Most importantly, the host Giuseppe is a very nice man, who speaks English and was already in the apartment when we arrived, and he patiently explained to us everything necessary and also shared some good tips for our stay in Agrigento. Based on my need, he also recommended the taxi service of another very nice man Massimiliano, by whose taxi we went to the Scala dei Turchi, which is another wonderful thing we had. In a nutshell, it's an amazing stay. I felt very well served and satisfied. Next time if I come to Agrigento, I'll definitely stay here again!
