Lovely staff, incredibly helpful even through a language barrier - they have even mailed me something that I left behind! Great location in the Medina and nice courtyard.

Single beds are not the most comfortable but not bad.

Wonderful hosts. They took me to the shops to buy food for breakfast and when we went to a restaurant for dinner they escorted us so we would not get lost. The property is spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location for exploring Tunis and also for the experience of being right in the Medina. They also took us to the airport on departure and then declined the money for the journey.

The location of this lodging is extremely convenient if you want to explore Tunis' medina. The room is very comfortable and you feel right at home. I travelled in February and it was very cold outside but the room immediately felt warm and inviting. The room I had had a heater and a fridge and the owners kindly provided some water and oranges. Breakfast is simple but delicious.

The bathroom is, frankly, the Achiles' heel. It could look better and be a little more comfortable. Still, the best one I experienced in Tunisia!

Great location for those wanting to explore the medina & souks. The hosts are friendly, and I appreciated the 'extras' of water, oranges and soup!! Room is clean and comfortable. Airport transfer service is also offered. Recommend.

This accommodation is an excellent option if you would like to be in the city center of Tunis (Medina) with easy access to the traditional markets (Souks). The place is very clean, well equipped, and super nice with historic design for an authentic experience. The hosts go extra miles in hospitality and are very helpful in all aspects! In a nutshell, this place is highly recommended!

Our stay at this property was in a word memorable. In fact, the host was a highlight of our vacation in Tunisia. He was exceptionally kind, considerate, and went to great lengths to make our stay at Dar El Rezk absolutely comfortable. As we'd planned to travel to El Jem from Tunis via train which got cancelled (the train got delayed over an hour, and we cancelled it), he drove us to El Jem and back for a minimal price. We'd have given up visiting El Jem of not for him. Later that evening, he and aunty prepared a traditional Tunisian dinner which was delicious. Superb hosts. Very reasonable pricing, and exceptional people. I guess this can be generalized to the people of Tunisia, very kind. About the property, its got all the basic, comfortable facilities, a beautiful courtyard with orange and lemon trees, great place.

Nothing as such specifically about the property, except we felt the location was just a bit far from the main areas. Everything around and near closes by dusk and you wouldn't see a lot of people nearby in the area. But on the bright side, most places are within walkable distance (the train station is about 15 mins walk from the property), so I wouldn't cite this as a huge problem.

The phone number provided did not work but the hosts were extremely helpful and quick to respond to any requests. The apartment was good value for money and the beds were comfortable. The location was right by the Medina so easy access by foot to anywhere in the centre. If you want the experience of being in the old part of the city this works!

It was just as expected.
