The host went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, advising us of alternative transport options when the train system failed us. This property is hosted by a wonderful couple and we highly recommend it for a stay in Tunis

Nice room with garden. In the heart of Medina. Very lovely place. Nice people.

Owners are really nice, very helpful and kind. Location is really in center of medina (historical center). Room is big and spacious.

Many mosquitoes come into the room during cleaning through windows and doors since there is no mosquito net. Bathroom needs a bit maintenance, some parts are rusty and worn out. Wireless internet is extremely weak so it doesn't work properly.

The host is very kind and supportive. At check out, She accepted to keep our lougage till evening. room was clean and well equipped. Everything was OK, the same as the pictures.

The hotel is located in old madina , so the taxi can not stop in front of the hotel, you have to gett off in the main street and walk 5 min. If you have heavy luggage, consider it.

Dar el Rezk is an hidden gem in the center of Medina, only a couple minutes walk from the souk area. What i liked the most about this accomodation is the owner hospitality: arranging our transfer from airport, providing free food for breakfast and even offering us an amazing fish couscous cooked by his wife. The room itself is very big, with one of the best wifi we found in Tunisia and effective AC. Very nice patio were is possible to rest with friends. Well done!

Shower could be better, but compared with Tunisian standard i would consider it above the averageg. The real main problem has been a rooster from some neighbors starting singing around 5am each day, but, although unpleasant, it is part of the local experience.

Our experience in Tunisia was made particularly amazing because of this apartment. If you want to experience the Medina lifestyle this place has a great location, lovely rooms, and a very nice and warm courtyard. The owner was a wonderful host who also offered us a reasonable and safe taxi service, very polite, patient, and at our disposal for the entire stay. We would have lost a lot of time finding taxis considering it is difficult to enter the neighborhood by car. Highly recommend.

We were two times in this accommodation and both times there was problem with mosquito. Not all windows have nets and when room is being cleaned doors are kept open. We killed about 15 mosquito and even after that they were biting us during the night. Bathroom needs a bit of maintenance and extra cleaning. We had to ask both times of our stay for hairdryer. Wifi was very bad and signal was dropping so it was practically useless.

It was a very wonderful experience on our first night in Tunisia, the owner collected us from the airport. Even though there is a barrier of language between us and the owner, he tried his best to help us as a true gentleman. A thanks to the lady as well for giving my wife a reusable bag.

The owners of the property were extraordinary friendly and nice with us. They gave us a ride to the property from Hammamet and later to the airport. They served us a traditional Tunisian dinner. The place was large and very clean. The apartment is very historical and oriental decoration are everywhere. The kitchen is well equipped. We got fresh and cold water for free.
