This is a great value guesthouse and I felt really fortunate to stay there. Nora is a wonderful person. She went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. She's a great cook. Because I was there over Eid Al Adha Nora cooked lunch for me and it was fantastic. I would have starved otherwise because there was nothing open. I would stay here again.

Nora was a friendly and welcoming host. We managed to communicate despite our language barrier. The room was big enough and it was decent for the price we paid. Breakfast was adequate as well. Nora helped us with laundry for a small fee and that was much appreciated. If you use google maps, you’ll arrive at Riad Nazha. Once you’re here, turn left and you’ll find Dar Aya Fes.

The dar is located in a basement, so there isn’t much fresh air. The room occasionally smelled a bit from the bathroom. There’s no shower curtain so the whole bathroom floor will get wet whenever you take a shower. Also, depending on where you want to go, note that the blue gate (Bab Boujloud) is quite some distance away.
