Stay 2a Boutique Rooms

Lovely room and very clean. Food in restaurant was good.

The noise from the generator under our room was noisy and woke us up at 8am. The light coming through the blinds all night from restaurant sign.

The host was helpful every time I called her. They were very accommodating with my parking request.

We walked to the beaches and to harbor arm too. Everything ok except the area near the Bouverie place shopping centre gave a “not so nice” vibes. But this isn’t about the stay.

The property accepted my booking, but when I arrived, there was nobody there to let me in, and Booking.com themselves confirmed that no joining instructions had been provided to me. I ended up wandering around the streets of Folkestone in the freezing cold before finally finding a hotel with the room just short of midnight. I am still waiting on a response from the property to my message of a complaint.

They were happy to take my booking and my money, but did not actually provide a room, which I would say any reason reasonable person would agree is the bare minimum in this industry.

Great location (we were going to an event at Leas Cliffe Hall - only 10 mins walk) and nice and quiet after hours. Room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The staff in the Greek restaurant beneath were very helpful. We ended up eating in there and the food was excellent too!

It was a very bright room in the morning - it faces East - and we were woken up by the sun. I would have liked a black-out blind or at least some heavy curtains to help block the light out.

The room was large, the bed very comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were seamless.

It was a bit noisy, being on the street

2nd time we've stayed here different room but still lovely and clean and very convient as Christmas works do is literally downstairs in restaurant... Definitely recommend.
