Convenient 3BR Flat on Leith Walk

What I liked was that it was close to things me and my friend wanted to see in Edinburgh.

Unfortunately it was disappointing. There was only one fork in the flat which we had to share and that meant we couldn't eat together. The water pressure for the shower wasn't great and it would go hot and cold. There were bed bugs in my bed so I went into the spare room. The light in my room was hanging by it's wires which is unsafe. There was a dead mouse at the foot of my bed one morning so they gave me a refund on that nights stay. The beds were uncomfortable too, springs sticking up in some areas so it was hard to get comfortable.

Dirty door as you approach it. Flat has no lounge area. Provided with 2 chairs but flat occuipies 6 people... The beds are all broken. Staff were not helpful and the need for a deposit I feel is unnecessary given the condition of the place.

It was convenient to our daughters flat. Had a towel warmer, microwave and kettle. Toilet was newish.

On 4th floor, dingy dirty unlit stairs and front door very difficult to open. If you are older, dont attempt. Flat was dirty, looked like it had been cleaned by a 5yo. The beds were awful, either like concrete, or springs digging into you. Not much cutlery. Shower was mouldy. Floor not clean. TV not connected. No table to eat at, 2 chairs provided, 1 broken. It's basically a 1 bedroom flat they've turned into 3 bedrooms. No room to swing a cat.

dirtiest place I have ever stayed in. the man called Tahla that rented the place would not answer the phone after the deposit was paid. smell of weed in the flat was disgusting. the furniture was broken and the springs were broken in the bed. the heating would not work. we had to book somewhere else for the second night of our stay.

Location and easy check-in.

No kitchen table, uncomfortable beds, TV in place, where it was impossible to watch, cold apartment, nobody answered questions like how to turn heating on.

Great access to tram. Location although run down, is full of lovely cafes, restaurants, charity shops.. Good communication from owner prior to visit. Heating was great and lovely shower.

Where to start......after I booked, the bad reviews came in and I wasn't able to cancel and get refund. Messaged owner to ask had they rectified the fact that there was no table and only 2 chairs and 1 fork. Was told that there was no more space on property for more furniture and that the photos were online to see. Arrived at apartment and was met with the grimest, darkest hall and staircase, hadn't had a sweep in who knows how long! Steps were worn out and dangerous not helped by lack of lighting. The apartment was bright and clean but is full of broken furniture and indeed only 1 fork. TV is just a TV plugged into wall but no stations tuned in. Drawers in kitchen full of clutter. Beds and mattresses are old, worn and uncomfortable. No excuse when there are plenty of secondhand furniture shops around. It seems like it's too inconvenient to remove the broken furniture down the steps which isn't good enough! Ikea would certainly sort you out with a breakfast bar and stools. Very expensive for what we got and certainly not suitable for a family. Wouldn't recommend staying here. I've never had to review a place so poorly ever!
