Ivy Cabin with Hot Tub

Liked everything but air fryer was dirty

Sofa bed sitting room blinds that closed but very bright in the morning could do with curtains

This cabin was everything and more, clean, comfortable and peaceful. brilliant for families. Laura the host was exceptional, there was a slight problem with the hot tub and the customer service recieved was 10/10, she kept me up to date at all times. the lodge is easy accessible to park and rides to get to York. highly recommend

It was very clean and welcoming.

You needed a can opener to get cars out of the parking bays. One they were quite small and two inconsiderate drivers.

The cabin was little home from home, it had all the things you would need. The hot tub was ready to jump straight into. Added bonus for the air fryer!

I understand pets are welcome, however, the smell of dog in the living area was very pungent. We removed the rug which helped but it wasn’t pleasant. Also, the shower head was full of mould which could have been cleaned prior to our visit.

The setting is lovely but literally nothing on the site at all It was spotless inside and smelt lovely

The bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept in, i contemplated the floor at one point it was so hard It hurt my back and hip and I'm only 48! The jaccuzi although lovely the chlorine seemed to coat the skin like there was too much in there couldn't wait to shower it off One of the lie down parts the head rest had disintegrated at the bottom, the foam was hanging down I removed it as the bits were going in the vents I was worried I would get the blame so I took a photo There was only 3 large plates and 5 of everything else again with a 200 pound holding deposit I was worried I wouldn't get it back so I took photos In the rules it said plastic cups in the jacuzzi there were none provided luckily I bought my own The shower was a good shower but the head was mouldy and round the shower silicone doors I just felt for the price there were so many rules prior to our stay I was worried constantly incase I lost my 200 pound deposit I cleaned the place thoroughly when I left the only thing I couldn't do was hoover as there wasn't one Never saw a single employee so can't comment on them, heard them chatting in the office A bit of guidance in the room would be helpful like what's around pubs restaurants shops etc There was a pizza menu !

A lovely little cabin with great facilities. The hot tub was lovely and clean.

Parking spaces were tiny - not a big deal but something to consider if you have a bigger car or you’re not great at manoeuvring in tight spaces. There wasn’t a microwave as advertised but there was an oven and an air fryer.
