Ivy Cabin with Hot Tub

The location is good, less then 20 minutes away from York, The area had a calm atmosphere, it was relaxing and very clean. Our cabin was beautiful. Had a homley feel to it and everything we needed for our stay. The tub was great. Very clean and maintained. I needed to query something with the manager on arrival. I was contacted and got sorted straight away. A couple of local pubs near by. A few family day trips out to York, went on a river cruise, Scarborough -had a beach fun day and York Maze for our 8 year old daughter and she loved it! Would recommend this little gem away. Very clean and cosy. Hot tub was great and ready to get in straight away.

1 minor thing was there was no microwave even though it said there would be one. And with us self catering we had taken some microwave food. No big deal.

Just come back from a relaxing 2 day break wish we could of stayed longer the lodge was clean the bed was comfortable and the hot tub was amazing so warm like the fact that the back way is private with fences , we walked into the village to get the bus into York rather then take car the walk was about 10 mins and the buses 5 and 5a run every 20 mins , we will be back at some point hopefully

We thought that cabin was straight at the lake like picture but it is not.

Nice hot tub and vary clean and respectable.

I thought the process of booking seemed very extreme. Passports images plus a £200 deposit? - stayed in many places and the manner of communication seems very negative and just a huge set of rules and requirements.
