"Disappointing"

Great location, good facilities. Ideal for large groups.

The staff were very difficult to communicate with. First issue, I was chased for full balance a week before arrival, despite paying this with booking.com 3 weeks previous. Once raised the issue was eventually resolved, however caused unnecessary stress. Second issue, told on arrival that cleaners would appear 10am morning of checkout. This was frustrating as I’d paid for late checkout, and given it was a stag do, it would be very much needed. Again they did acknowledge once pointed out, however it really shouldn’t have to be the customer that has to advise the property management of that. Easy enough to take the money but quick to try forget about it. Final issue, was charged for damages via security deposit without any prior communication of action or breakdown of costs. This again meant that I was left having to reach out to them. A bit of a theme. After discussion it was agreed that a partial amount of the charge was fair. Pictures had fallen off the wall, which had been hung up by the “no nails tape” stuff whilst we had been out. How they can try hold someone liable for that I don’t know. Anyways they agreed to take this off the charge. The other damage was unfortunately one of the guests had been sick on bedding. I apologised for this as I was unaware and agreed a charge to replace was fair. However a value of £105 was quoted. This not only felt excessive, but to be honest the part which felt in appropriate was the lack of transparency. Surely the approach here should be firstly inform the customer of the issue, breakdown costs to replace and then agree to charge the card. Instead they acted in reverse? So it was never clear how they ever arrived at the initial charge, and clearly didn’t intend to explain until questioned. "Disappointing. With a little help everything could have worked out just fine."

The location. Easy access.

The badroom was not clean. Several appliances: fridge, freezer, washing-machine, warm water in the kitchen and heating did not work. Took hours to get hold of the owner and get a decent reaction. Via app they tried to help with heating, anything else had to wait till the next day. We left at 9pm. (Arrived at 5 pm) First time ever. But I needed to take care of my child. I asked if I could get a refund. They declined and I didn't get any response at all after that. Not an offer nor a message that they repaired and cleaned.

Lovely property in great location. However, towels provided were tiny (not suitable for showers). There were also no hand towels for bathroom or drying towel for kitchen.

Apartment was ok the towels not good had yo buy new one and what we thought we booked was not what we got

Key pad code was a bit hard apartment was not clean and few door handle was falling off and other little things
