Host & Stay - Oliver's Den

A nice house in a good location. They had made an effort with coffee pods and all the supplies we needed for 3 nights. Only thing that was a bit odd was we couldn’t find a shaver point.

Beautiful home from home. Great location. Clean, gorgeous house. Great communication with host. Would like check out to have been 11am not 10 as bit rushed esp as couldn't get in till 4pm but overall a wonderful place to stay and would happily again 😀

Brilliant location with easy access to all amenities. Warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. Lovely house, well decorated and loved the wee quirky touches throughout. Log burner was lovely in the evening. Bathroom is a great size and lovely and bright. The additional downstairs loo is a bonus too! Easy on street parking right outside.

Didn't dislike anything. A few points - would benefit from a full length mirror. The bed in the 'blue room' is a bit softer a mattress than I would personally prefer. The kitchen, though fairly well equipped, would be even better if pots, pans and cooking utensils were updated slightly. The WiFi isn't great but a lovely note was left from Marie, the owner saying they'd upgraded the router and to call her with any issues - personally, I wasn't really bothered as it is nice to 'digitally switch off' but might bother some folk.

The house was lovely and so central to Alnwick. The attention to detail and cleanliness was excellent and the hosts were always available whenever you asked anything which was so appreciated. I just loved everything about this home away from home. I will not hesitate to return here.

Location was great - right by Barter Books, a short walk to the Main Street in Alnwick or the castle. Also a nice co-op very close by for anything you forget.

Nothing we didn’t like!

The location was excellent to be able to access all of the town and attractions on foot. The house was spotlessly clean and has a full range of facilities.

Some of the doors might need adjusting so they close more easily.

Location was great for us. Easy parking was a bonus outside the property. Had easy access to Alnwick and shops, Fixtures & fittings were all of a high standard.

Great location. Lovely house, well equipped, well maintained. Cosy. Lovely big bathroom. Useful outdoor space. Everything ran smoothly.
