The Coastal Retreat (Nr Brighton)

We liked the spacious sitting area-kitchen which is similar.to our home space. It was private, but the owner was nearby and available.to help us with TV.and stove operations, as well as the loan of salt and pepper. Loved the huge bathroom, big towels, and pre-order parking. Really enjoyed talking with the hosts. Unfortunately it was too cold and windy to enjoy the outside sitting area, but that was not the host's fault. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

The only thing that was a concern is that the shower did not have a grab bar. We are 78&80 and have more concern about calling or slipping than younger guests likely have.

Lovely place in a great location for our trip to Brighton. Spotlessly clean and very helpful, friendly hosts. Would definitely rebook if we’re in the area again!

Beautifully decorated, cozy, clean and convenient bungalow with terrace.

Stone pathway to the property might be a problem for a buggy or trolley (I happened to have a big one with me).

The apartment was clean, very nicely decorated and comfortable. It has one bedroom, and the sofa bed in the living area is very comfortable for extra guests. Well equipped kitchen. The property was just a few minutes walk from the sea. There is off road parking. There are plenty of eating places within a few minutes drive (some walking distance) along the coast road.

A lovely self-contained apartment with great facilities. The lounge area was just what we needed to relax after a day out walking on the South Downs. The kitchen had all the basic equipment needed to cook a meal, and it was only a short walk to several food outlets, a couple of bars and shops.

Nothing to complain about.

Such a gorgeous little find. I’ve stayed in many places and this little haven is definitely in my top three. Communication from Brad was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. The place was spotless, warm, comfortable and cosy. Decor is fabulous and very easy to get into Brighton. I’d recommend this place to anybody and I’ll definitely be going back. Thanks for a great stay!
