Beautiful old cottage with everything you'll need! Well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Wood burning stove kept us toasty and hosts left us wood which was great! The gardens and fields surrounding the property are ideal for dogs and if you go in the warmer weather it would be lovely to have a picnic - the garden runs right onto a stream. You can hear the stream at night in bed which I found very soothing. Location is central - just a few minutes from Tavistock and Dartmoor. Roads are good and wide enough to easily fit two-way traffic. No cold-sweats trying to negotiate tiny Devonshire roads!

Very small things. A microwave would have been nice to reheat food, but I realize there is limited counter space and that wasn't a deal breaker. Stairs in the cottage were slick wood and uncarpeted. Looked lovely, but a bit of a hazard for dogs, elderly folks, and anyone wearing socks and not paying attention to where they walk. Please add a bathmat to the bath as my elderly mother was nervous about slipping over.

Cottage was lovely, quiet, clean, easy to find. Asked for help with TV and the response was excellent

The location wasn't very good for my dog and being able to walk straight from the cottage for our morning walk

Location was amazing, cottage was beautiful and full of character both inside and out.

Mattresses on beds were terrible and desperately in need of replacing.. Sofa and chairs were last their best and could do with an upgrade.

Hit water temperature wasn’t great and we ran out on the first morning after 1 shower

The cottages are a fabulous way to utilise the old farm buildings, which have been created while retaining original feel. The wood burning stove is a lovely addition to the living area and to enjoy during dark evenings.

Maybe slightly clearer signage on the main road as we drove past on first attempt, but easily found when we approached from the Tavistock direction.

Everything. It was very comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.
