Achintee Cottages No 1

The cottage is set in an absolutely stunning area just a short walk from the start of the ben nevis trail. The owner was lovely and greeted us when we arrived and had a chat. The cottage itself is fantastic and has everything you can need, I'd honestly love to go back at some point.

Perfect location. Peaceful. Great views. A home from home. Base camp for our attempt on the summit of The Ben. Completed with a small stop at the Ben Nevis Inn on the way home. Accommodation was excellent with everything you require for a perfect stay. Never had a need to contact the hosts regards any issues, but did speak to them when passing outside and were very friendly with plenty of time to chat.

Beautiful location, fantastic cottage with excellent facilities. The owner was very quick and apologetic when we had a slight issue but resolved it straight away!

Oven tripped when we used but again, the owner resolved very quickly

Very nicely laid out, well equipped and very clean. I stay in quite a lot of self catering properties and this is amongst the best in my experience. Superbly easy to get to Ben Nevis path on foot via the lane outside.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property above but I’d agree with other comments about the sounds from the property above. They weren’t a problem for me but I was aware of some noise. Good neighbors above and everything would be fine.

This property was beautiful, we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage itself was super comfortable and a short walk from groceries. The bed and shower were both great and it was not very expensive to taxi from the bus/train station. This is the perfect stay if you would like to do Ben Nevis. We walked from the cottage and it ended up being about 18km. I would love to come and stay for longer.

The property was in a gorgeous location, an easy 15 min walk to fort William for shops and restaurants and surrounded by varied and beautiful walks up mountains and around rivers.

Nothing at all, this was one of the best get aways I ever had.

Location for walking, quiet, private. New, clean and all necessary facilities. Except ice but that meant I got to chat to Liz the proprietor. 👍🏻😊

Hosts lovely, met me when I came in. Really kind and caring helped us as much as they could, going above and beyond to accommodate us for our trip to fort William. The property itself was lovely, it was cozy and comfortable and by far one of the better places I’ve stayed for a long weekend and holiday in general,
