Achintee Cottages No 1

Great location. 10 min drive to Ben Nevis Gondola, 25 min to Howgwarts Express hike starting point. Ben Nevis Distillery is also very close. Exceptionally clean apartment with very modern interiors. Heating worked great. Bedding was lovely. Felt coming back to a cozy home each evening. Beautiful views outside cottage. There is a private parking too. Good kitchen with all necessary utensils. Few points to note. - A dishwasher would have been nice. unfortunately there is none, ended up doing a lot of dishes by hand - Google maps will point you to a power plant . don't turn left towards that, instead keep going straight and you will find entrance to the cottage.

A lovely quiet setting….with great views, comfortable lounge to sit on at the end of the day. Loved having a washing machine!!!

This would be a difficult problem to fix…but the noise from the upstairs accomodation was quite loud!! like they were jumping. It certainly wasn’t all night…but just a bit annoying. Also heavier curtains???

Great little cottage in a fantastic location. Very quiet and peaceful. The views from the window are stunning. This place was a great base camp for all of our Highland expeditions. The amenities are excellent and there are some great pubs and restaurants nearby. This cottage is a very short walk to the start of the Ben Nevis summit track if that's on your to-do list.

The setting was beautiful the accomodation was comfortable. There was tea coffee milk and sugar in abundance already at the property

Absolutely beautiful. It’s for a single or couple, but I stayed with my daughter. So quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend. I would come back again.

When you first pull in it looks like a building site, but you get over that fast when you step into accommodation and see your view.

Perfect location

Advertised as no dogs, but obviously could have brought dogs.
