Royal Rooms at Coop Live Etihad, Sports City

This is a little gem. So many little touches. Beautifully decorated. Scented candles and ornaments around to add to ambience. Little treats in the room. Room is beautiful, tight enough space wise but clean, with tea making facilities, welcome treats, snacks. Bathroom shower and bath, beautifully presented, clean, fresh towels, toiletries even travel.toothpaste. Definitely more little touches than any hotel room I've stayed in. Access to shared kitchen and sitting area, again, fresh clean and welcoming. Host was available through messenger and by phone. Key code.for.check.in.and out making it a seamless experience.

The communication for how to get into the property etc was brilliant. The parking facility was very handy and the location was perfect for a 20min stroll to the Coop Live Arena! Bottles of chilled water in the fridge in the shared kitchen and snacks in the room. Wine/prosecco glasses also in the room. Huge bed with plenty of cushions and bedding. Comfortable nights stay.

It wasn't made clear pre-booking that our bathroom wasn't an en suite - although it was only for our use, it was outside of our room in the hallway of the house which meant there was little privacy. There were no tea making facilities - there were cups in the room but no tea bags, no milk etc in the shared kitchen and the kettle was extremely dirty. There were no toiletries available - this was not made clear pre-booking. There were plenty of empty bottles of toiletries in the bathroom though, which could have been tidied away prior to our stay. There were no bins in the property. I think the £250 for the night was a bit steep considering the facilities available - although we did stay on the night of a concert at the arena and the Manchester Marathon so prices will have reflected this.

The location to the concert was exactly what we were expecting.

The kitchen was poorly equipped and needled a deep clean, units and cupboards were filthy. I was surprised when we arrived at the property, didn’t realise it was a house, that would be shared with another couple, nothing “Royal rooms of the Co-op” about it. When we were dropped off by the taxi driver , he told us to be careful when walking around in the dark as not the safest of places to be, which made us very vulnerable about going out that night. Thought it was very over priced.

Beautiful place decorated amazing. But this is a bedroom rented in someone house not a b&b. Kitchen very gimey cupboards etc need good clean. Bathroom window sink all dusty. Pillows awful. Bedroom was lovely but small. Not a b&b by any means and very overpriced for room in someone house

Wow..! This place was more I could ever imagine. I booked a room on the same day and spent a night there and it was a great value for money. The place was so clean and comfortable. The experience was five star and I’ll definitely stay there again and, recommend to my friends and family members.

Lovely stay, the place was immaculate & very nicely arranged yet homely! Staff were super helpful & easy to reach even when the booking.com messages weren’t going through! Location super convenient too just a short Walk from Co-op Live

This place was not what I expected from the description and facilities, it's basically a three bedroom house with each room given grand titles like Royal rooms, Paris suite, the rooms were unmarked, no staff were seen during stay, the kitchen was a normal one with various things in the fridge, we didn't know what we could use so we didn't, we initially entered the wrong room because the codes for both rooms were identical, the owner issued veiled threats about entering the room illegally and be charged a fine ? I seriously think Booking.com should review what the property is purporting to be and what it actually is, I've been using your site for years, and I've never had an issue like this before
