The beautiful restoration job and attention to detail! Montalbano is unique but would recommend staying a bit earlier in the season as almost everything closes up at the end of August according to a couple of the restaurant owners.

Loved the house, just couldn’t find a few things like tea towels, paper towels etc. but the bedding and bath towels were first class.

Casa spaziosa, stile rustico. Ogni parte dell'arredamento è curata nei minimi dettagli. Tutto pulitissimo ed è una casa vacanza fornita di tutto il necessario.

I turisti che sbirciano al pianterreno in cucina. La struttura ovviamente non è responsabile di questo, perché è risaputo che molti viaggiatori non rispettano la privacy delle abitazioni dei centri storici in genere.

The house is stunning, so beautifully renovated. I felt i was sleeping in history. Great location situated in the beautiful medieval town of Montalbano, very close to the castle and short walk to the main town.

Una bomboniera, arredata con gli oggetti del passato, ma con tutte le comodità del presente. Meravigliosa.

Non è facilissimo parcheggiare perché si trova nel cuore del borgo antico.

Soggiornare alla Dimora del Viandante è una esperienza spazio temporale. La casa tutta di pietra è stata finemente ristrutturata ed è curata nei minimi dettagli. Nulla è lasciato al caso ed il silenzio all'interno è quasi irreale. Fantastica 😀

Everything! Great location, beautiful property, and very accommodating in every way. They thought of all the details. Very authentic materials, furniture and overall experience. Outdoor space is a great plus.

Everything was perfect.

We loved the location in the hearth of Montalbano. In the first half of may we felt almost alone in this lovely town. The atmosphere of this property was just amazing and we really appreciated the small patio to sit outside. Also, we liked surrounding nature for walks. Public parking recommended by the host was nearby and was safe. We would love to come back.

The kitchen was not equipped very well. We missed a kettle and teapot and some sharp knife.

A very, very special place I know I’ll never forget. Like something out of a fairy tale. The owners have thought of everything to both surprise and delight you AND make you feel very cozy and at home. The drive up through town was a little nerve-wracking (just follow the signs once you reach the pharmacy) but parking and getting back down the hill was much easier. We ate a delicious dinner at the place just around the corner, steps away from the Castello. I could have stayed a week! We will be back.
