"a magic retreat"

the place is amazing, every detail is magic :-) We managed to have all the house for us. 2 rooms, one for us and the other for the kids. a great value. I recommend it.

Very well decorated with excellent choice for details. Combination of old and new is unbeatable.And the neighbours brought tomatoes from their garden amd where always up for a chin wag. We spent most of the time inside the house becouse we loved it so much. Well done. If you are looking for an unforgetable experience this is the place to be.

"Amazing fantastic place. The house, the town and the owners."

I wanted to be in high altitude which is why I picked it. The beautiful stone house was built in 1800 as most of the houses in this part of town. The streets are narrow and winding. The castle dates back to the 9th century. Our host didn't speak English and we don't speak Italian but we managed well. Franco was kind and helpful. We loved it there.

Because of the age of the house and the stone construction, it is dark inside. There are several wood chairs with cushions but no sofa to lounge in.

We have very much enjoyed staying in Helikon. Beautifully renovated original stone house full of charm and personality. House was super clean, very central and absolutely adorable. We will be back soon!

"Perfect cottage"

Beautiful historic house in the old castle part of a Sicilian mountain town. Nice restaurants and cafes etc a few minutes away, amazing views all around. Quiet and peaceful. Simply amazing outdoor cooking area. Cooler nights in the mountains.

I couldn’t find any cooking knives but that might be me.
