"Lovely stay in close contact with nature"

The location is great: the shelter are situated in a natural park which is a protected area: after 7pm it is exclusively for the guests. The owner is amazing: kind and welcoming, he helped us with everything.

We liked everything! the stay has been amazing. the only downside is that having the car is compulsory but in any case we suggest to have a car to visit Madeira.

"Breathtaking break"

The lodge was gorgeous, the photos dont do either the inside or the outside any justice. It was so peaceful and outstandingly beautiful, I only wish we were staying longer.

The only thing I can think to improve this trip would be a toaster. We visited in what is essentially winter so it was a little chilly but if you've got warm socks and jumpers ypull be fine, we had a few blankets in the lodge and also a heater.

"The perfect accommodation to feel connected with nature!"

Breathtaking scenery and amazing shelters! The shelters were very well-equipped and everything was harmonious. Even the cutlery had a bit of wood on it. Besides this, the host, Dioclécio, was super friendly and offered to help at any time. He advised me some trails to do in the Ecological Park, which I did. This was the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in!

We had a really friendly and helpful reception. The lodges are perfectly situated if you want to explore the park. They were clean and comfortable and had everything you would need to cook a simple meal. Bathroom was lovely.

We visited in January and it was slightly cold- there was a small electric heater in the lodge. We were prepared with warm clothing but just something to bear in mind if you go "out of season".

an amazing comfortable and spacious timber hut in a great location for walks in the protected natural Park. the owner/manager is super friendly and nice, would surely come back! a car is required to reach the destination.

wi fi is very unreliable and only available in the common area.
