The Vivaan Hotel & Resorts Karnal

The Vivaan is an event location, restaurant and hotel that potrays itself as a luxury destination and charges absurd prices for horrendous quality and service. We were a large group of around 40 guests that booked rooms for a week for a wedding we organised and dined here quite often. The food is one redeeming aspect of this otherwise miserable experience. The rooms had windows which were blocked by the construction frame of the indoor venue so you had no sunlight. It felt like one was in a cage. The rooms are not cleaned daily unless you specifically ask for it (and in some cases not even then), no fresh towels or toilet paper delivered, trash not picked up. For the first couple of days there was no hot water in most of the rooms we booked. Therer were bogus charges to the room service bill and the staff is always trying to hoodwink you. If you are organizing an event here, BEWARE of their very shady practices.
