Everything, exceptional, staff were the best i’ve met

The pool area is attractive and relaxing. The gardens are well tended. Other guests were a friendly mix of locals and foreigners. The dorm beds have curtains, which I always think is preferable. Each bed has an Indian/EU electricity point and a small reading light. They're clean, as is the shower/toilet. There are adequate lockers.

I was disappointed by the digital check in process. It was cumbersome, complicated, unnecessary. A questionnaire asks, among other things, why am I in India? I also had to fill out my credit card details to a third party payment app that I didn't know... which then added a couple of hundred Rupees to the price of my reservation. Not a great start. The limited menu is more expensive than food outside the compound. Also, it may be trying a bit too hard. It refers to "Shroom and cheese omelette" and confusingly "A nostalgic mix of potatoes...". I ate from ALTR NATIV's menu only once. But just a ten minute stroll down the road rewarded me with tasty, authentic food for less.

We loved the design, and the staff were all super-friendly and helpful. Great pool, and it felt like a real getaway in nature. The on-site cafe was beautiful, and handy for light meals etc.

I had a lovely stay at Altr Nativ. The property is in a great location, very quiet, peaceful, easy to find, and conveniently close to good restaurants and nearby beaches. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a calm and relaxed environment away from the crowd. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout the stay, which made the experience even better. The café on the property serves really tasty food as well, which was a pleasant bonus.

The only minor issue I faced was that the bathtub didn’t fill up properly.

Very pretty property, very helpful staff. Good crowd. The cafe food was also pretty good. Definitely recommended if looking for a hostel.
