ALTR NATIV Morjim, Goa

Staff were all so lovely & accommodating, the property is within its first year so everything still feels pretty new & clean. It’s very zen & calm in the daytime, lovely pool & rooftop area where you can do yoga/home workouts & a small coworking space as well. The dorm I stayed in was spacious, modern, had large beds & looked just like the pictures. The food onsite was great too - chief chef was happy to let you know what allergies each food item had & they have some vegan options + oat milk for coffee :)

The property was a little out of the way of the main beach strip (fine to walk during day) & down a dark unlit road - I walked back a couple of nights & it felt a bit eerie. It’d be lovely to have a female dorm, I was the only girl in my dorm & also it’s not a big backpacker vibe either, so meeting new people was tricky as most were in groups/couples (more like a hotel). Some groups had quite loud parties going on til 6am during the week, it does feel that it’s a popular spot for groups to visit to party around the area, which is a shame as it’s got such a good set up for a retreat!

I couldn’t fault anything about this place! The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful and as a solo traveller I found the concept of having bunkrooms really ingenious. I met some amazing people during my stay there and the whole environment was hugely welcoming!
