The hot tub. Hospitality on arrival and easy to contact host

Didn’t have large amount of items to clean or cook. And towels stayed wet in bathroom

The apartment itself is lovely. It's clearly been recently renovated, is very clean and looks just like the pictures (we had the studio room). The location is brilliant - very central - a 10 minute walk from the ferry port,Como lago train station and the bus station, and a15 min walk to Como San Giovanni train station, where the train from Milano Centrale arrives. We were also greeted in person with a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. Check in was easy and the property was very responsive on booking.com and via their whatsapp.

The hot tub seemed like a good idea at first, and we did enjoy it on the first night, however we certainly did not expect it to be as loud as it was during the night. We expected some sound but it was SO loud with the jets running and bubbling. The hot tub is programmed to run until midnight and there is no way of turning it off outside of that. It was pretty quiet during the day but would start up properly about 9pm. We actually couldn't sleep because of it - we would have to wait until midnight to sleep which was not good when we had to be up early each day. Both of us desperately put pillows over our heads to try to block it out. We contacted the property who told us to put the hot tub on 'eco mode' and to lower the strength of the jets which helped a little but not much. There was nothing else that could be done apparently. We stayed three nights (we could not have done any more) and left feeling really tired rather than refreshed as we had hoped. It's a really nice apartment but ultimately you want a room to sleep in. I'd personally rather a good night sleep than a hot tub.

The location was so central, only 5 minute drive from train station and 10 minute walk to Lake COMO. Jacuzzi and bathroom were amazing and a bottle of Prosecco was provided upon arrival!

Room was slightly smaller than expected but this was not a problem

The property was amazing my wife loved the birthday surprise much recommended.
