Great property with everything you need, Situated on an estate with plenty to do, Full access to Pools, Activities and Sauna at all times. Very cosy lodge tucked away and quiet with plenty of room indoors and outdoors. Great communication with hosts at all times very good if you’re anxious as they will kindly reply within minutes and answer any questions u think of! Definitely will return.

The property is in a great location with things to do but you have to be careful to book in advance and we only got to go the once. The inside of the property is beautiful

On the second day we received a message to ask us to pay for the two dogs we had with us. As we had looked for dog friendly places we were not aware that a further payment would be required especially after paying almost £400 per nights stay and were uncomfortable that the CCTV in operation was used to spy on us. The outdoor area was covered with spider webs as were the balconies and the table and chairs were dirty. The oven also did not work and despite guidance on the wall (not directly on the oven) for what to do in the event of it not working, we wasted two roast chickens and a couple of pizzas as even with the guidance we were unable to use it during our whole stay. Luckily an air fryer was at the property otherwise we would have had nothing to cook with.

The house is modern and beautiful with every amenity, and in top condition. Everything was thought of and included, with parking right outside. The beds were super-comfy. The owners are very responsive and helpful. The spa/ pool and kayaks were good fun. We liked the duck visits and gorgeous views and nature hikes. We had a great time and were sad to leave.

Just one complaint - it's a long walk to the bins, they were a few minutes walk away.

Cosy, comfortable, well equipped and homely house for 7 adults and a dog. Fantastic location with numerous activities on the doorstep.

It was cosy with the fire on, the beds were comfy , complimentary drink and dog treats / ball/ toy. Clean. Very close to facilities . Toiletries provided .

A group of old friends stayed wanting a relaxing weekend of good food and drink with lots of swimming. The site is beautiful and the house was clean and comfortable for a larger group. Three showers and four toilets really helped. We loved walked around the lakes, swimming and having a drink in the sunshine at Balihoo bar. We also tried the nearest pub (1 mile walk away) which had a scaled down burger menu due to new ownership but it suited us fine and service was good and they were very welcoming. The only downside was the large amount of mosquitoes, insects and mites around, but this is really just the proximity to the surrounding water and nothing could really been done. We couldn’t sit outside and enjoy the garden much due to the sheer number (nor open doors windows).
