Great communication throughout and a really well equipped house..

Everything was excellent. You have just to pack your suitcases and the new home waits for you. You do not need to take anything else with you. It looks like you left your home and find a new one there. Owners are so helpful, too. We will be back again definitely 😊

Home from home, everything you needed.

Lovely, clean and comfy house. Prompt communication from the owners. Prosecco and AF fizz in the fridge which was a lovely surprise even though not used! Lovely location and lots of advice on where to go locally :)

I found the stay a wee bit stressful, I felt like we were only allowed to use one room otherwise we might incur additional fees even though we booked the whole house. Answered the question on the form about the bed and was asked if we were having others to stay, which we weren't, I was just asking a question of whether I wanted singles or a double. Also felt restricted with what we could do with our dog as would incur additional cleaning fees.. The deposit was also a surprise. Cleaner there just before 10 lurking / watching us leave which makes checking out stressful. Not quite as relaxing as I'd hoped for those reasons. One bed very very soft but it's a matter of preference!

The lodge is beautiful and very cosy. The welcome gift for the dog and surprise in the fridge was lovely. There was only 2 wine glasses there though which can easily be rectified. Enclosed garden for the dog. Hosts were great to communicate with. Beds so comfy also

The rooms were cosy and I liked that they had board games/books etc for the kids to use. Had lots of utensils and equipment in the kitchen. Felt like a cosy family space.

When we moved or looked behind furniture there was a lot of dust and cobwebs like it hadn’t had a deep clean in a long time. This affected my son who has a dust allergy and my husband had to hover all the cobwebs and dust which we don’t usually have to do when we go on holiday.

The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The Pike Cottage is a great place to stay. It is a perfect location to explore the Cotswolds. It is so clean and tidy- impeccable! The little extras that Lois included were awesome. Lois kept in touch to endure our stay was perfect.
