The Fox Inn

The bed was comfortable. The shower was very good. The breakfast was excellent. Even though the building was close to a busy road, the traffic did not disturb us.

Lack of hanging space for clothes. Bizarre automatic lighting. It seemed that the room next door affected the operation of lighting. The wall between the room and next door was very thin and sound travelled through. The cover over the stop cock fell off a few times.

The staff were all welcoming and very friendly. The location was ideal for our purpose. The facility was great, the sunshine made the beer garden even better! Dinner and Breakfast was superb, no complaints at all!

Had to leave to go to work!

Modern, clean and exceptional value for money The hotel manager was very friendly and extremely helpful, always checking if everything was to our satisfaction. Food was great too 😍

Room needed somewhere to hang clothes and to put toiletries out

Setting so close to our daily activities. Wagu burgers, large bathroom. Lovely huge bowl of granola for breakfast.

Though I deliberately booked a room with 2 beds we were shown to a room with 1 large bed which was not appropriate and had to wait to be reallocated an appropriate room. This was done without any fuss but it should not have been needed.

The staff couldn't do enough for us! The room was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Anyone staying here will not be disappointed. Thank you to everyone who looked after us. Make sure you have the breakfast!

breakfast excellent (I ordered off menu ---- no problems) Very friendly staff. comfortable room. (you have said I asked for a quiet room ---I don't remember asking for that. We could certainly hear the beat of the music, but I wasn't really disturbed by it)

I didn't like the tea (they said Yorkshire) Quite a strong bleach smell in the breakfast room (we were early because we'd been told the wrong time for breakfast to start and the floor was still a bit wet) ---- it was ok because the weather was warm and we could open the window. otherwise everything was fine.
