Secluded location, very quiet

Room was very hot, due to the time of year, fans provided in the rooms which helped

Nicely furnished, very comfortable spacious accommodation and amazing breakfast!

The proximity to the road made it a bit noisy in the morning as the window was open due to the heat. But this isn’t the fault of the property!

The breakfast to was delicious.

The manager - what a rude lady, that fact she had double booked our room was apparently my fault and when I question her she just keeping saying well speak to booking.com. The fact our room wasn't ready at 9pm when we were able to check in from 2pm because they had a wedding on and had let the wedding guests use that room ok fine but then don't allow booking.com to rent those rooms out just greed! Then to tell the other guests the wedding party that they had to move because of us and actually point us out disgusting! Then when we were finally shown to our room the grooms party were waiting on the landing and wouldn't let me pass with my suitcase. They shouldn't of even known who we were. Unprofessional manager. Then drunk people trying to get into our room in the night. Alarms going off throughout the night and the downstairs door banging all night ( I thing I was when people were coming in and out from smoking). Did not constitute to a good nights sleep. I did complain to booking.com and they negotiated a £45 refund from my £143 paid I was not happy.

the setting is perfect, felt very comfortable and relaxed. the breakfast was lovely.

one small issue, we had to request cups and milk etc as it hadn't been topped up, but it was quickly resolved and didn't impact our stay that much. but I'm being really picky

The staff, atmosphere and food was excellent.

The noise from the road is quite loud even with the windows closed. There was also a constant banging of a door that reverberated upto my room every time someone went through it which was annoying!!

Evening meal and breakfast both very good, bed very comfortable, room spacious, location very good.

Nothing not to like about our stay.

There was a few cobwebs in room 7 but that's the only drawback. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Very nice cooked breakfast washed down with chilled orange juice and two decent sized mugs of tea. I did think we would get a breakfast menu though. Staff were friendly. Great beer garden and there was a dj playing on the afternoon we arrived, gave a good atmosphere

The cobwebs in the room wasn't ideal but apart from that everything else was fine. The mattress felt too firm but I always struggle with hotel beds

The good bits The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The beds were very comfortable. The surroundings are very scenic. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it. The not so good, but just little niggles Very squeaky floorboards. Water builds up in the sink, doesn't flow away quickly. One of the bedside lamps doesn't work.
