Ivy Mews Barn in Village Sleeps 2

Well appointed, very comfortable.

The need to strip the bed is strange for a booking.

Decorated to a very high standard and very clean . Nice and quiet even though it was near a main road Parking was easy and secure

The owner does like on site it’s worth knowing, if you should need them . Which we didn’t .

the location was spot on. the place was very clean could not fault it . travling to whitby and robin hoods bay was not very far away we really enjoyed our stay it was excellent

Very clean and comfortable. Lovely place to stay for a few nights and great layout. Location perfect for Scarborough, Whitby or surrounding countryside. Regular buses to Scarborough and Whitby stop a few hundred yards away. North Bay only 5 minutes drive. Well served by local pubs and restaurants. My husband travelled for the cricket and it was easy to get him to the ground without going through town Centre.

No complaints at all. Nice touches like milk in the fridge and washing tablets for the machine. My husband apparently couldn't find a chopping board but to be honest I hadn't noticed.

Lovely apartment, beautifully decorated, clean, and well equipped. The owner is friendly and helpful. The location is really good, ideal for the Cleveland coast between Scarborough and Whitby. There's a really good bus service from Scalby all along the coast. Scalby is a lovely, quiet village. 5 minutes walk is the plough, a lovely pub that does great food, and there's also 2 great tea rooms in the village.

Ivy Mews has been decorated and furnished to a high end luxury standard. The rooms were large and airy especially the bedroom on the first floor. The bed was extremely comfortable with cotton sheets and hotel quality mattress and bedding. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was excellent being near to Scarborough/Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors. Scalby village was immaculate and has a wonderful pub/hotel called |The Plough which we enjoyed.

Sofa could be more comfortable

I had to book accommodation at extremely short notice as my previously booked accommodation was not habitable... I was met by the couple who manage the property. They could not do enough to ensure I was comfortable. The property was extremely clean and well appointed. The bedroom and kitchen were lovely. I was in Whitby for a charity walk so it was easy to get to the accommodation. Perfect for me thank you!

The location was perfect. Parking was out the pay so you know your vehicle is safe. Really modern and clean.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. There was few recommendations i suggested after our first night such as, having a fan as it was very hot weather when we stayed. Also some salt and pepper as we had a takeaway Indian and there wasn’t any and some surface spray as I wanted to clean the sides after we had eaten but there wasn’t any only a cloth and no cleaner and I’m a bit ocd. However I suggested all of this to the property on booking.com messages and within a few hours a lovely lady appeared with a fan, salt and pepper and some surface spray. So over all nothing to complain about.

Ivy Mews is a lovely converted barn. It is very comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. It is clean, and the deco has been beautifully done. We enjoyed our stay alot

Comfortable and homely. Parking was great and nice to have hot water.

Was a bit cold at night as heating wasn't coming on. Heating would come on early hours of morning which made ot a bit hot when sleeping. Couldn't get fire place to work properly.
