Anne Cottage, Bakewell, in the Peak District

The location was great for walking into town and walks with the dog from the front door. Quirky Cottage was comfortable with everything that we needed and more. Nice to have 2 bathrooms and bedrooms at either end of the house as we visited with a friend. Great to have parking on the doorstep, never used the car all weekend. Contacted the host with a question during stay that was dealt with quickly, thank you. Would definitely stay again

Coming home

Great location, easy walk into town. Two en-suite bedrooms with decent sized beds. The kitchen was small but very well stocked with everything you could need. The extra fridge in the utility room was a bonus.

Slightly musty smell throughout the building (it did disappear when the heating was on).The living room was quite dark so we spent most of our time around the dining table in the kitchen.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location to explore Bakewell and the surrounding area.

Nothing particularly.

We stayed for 3 nights, the cottage was very comfortable and well-appointed. There was a welcome pack waiting for us on arrival including some milk in the fridge which was a nice touch. The location was good, 10 min walk into the centre of Bakewell, albeit uphill on the way home!
