Great location for visiting the observatory, Makawao, Paia. Nice view from the deck and living room.

Steve and Diane are excellent hosts. They greeted us, oriented us to the area, and were readily available and responsive to all of our questions and needs. Their home is located in a very pleasant area, high enough to get out of the high humidity of the rest of the island and pretty much as close as you can get to the entrance of Haleakala. We thank Steve and Diane for a very enjoyable stay and will definitely stay again if in the area.

Stairs need to be accessed for the sleeping area. While not a problem for us, it needs to be noted in case it is a problem for others. Steve was very helpful I. Moving suitcases up and down the stairs

Very spacious, clean and beautifully.

The location was perfect as we were heading Haleakala Sunrise in the morning The hosts were very helpful planning our trip to the Sunrise

Everything was great, we regret not spending more time there, it was so lovely.

The location upcountry was great and the living room was comfortable. Two balconies with incredible views. Our host was very helpful in navigating the island.

The "kitchen" area was poorly lit, but the coffee maker worked and tea in the microwave was fine. The bed was a bit short for my 185 cm body, and the rafters meant one couldn't easily read in bed, one thing we really like to do on vacation.

Clean and comfortable. Beautiful views. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful.
