The room was beyond what we expected! The bedroom and living area were very clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We only did a one night stay to see the sunrise but they had every amenity we needed. The hosts went above and beyond and they were just the nicest couple. They responded to all of my questions immediately and made sure to greet us on arrival to provide all the help and information we needed. If we do the sunrise again we will not hesitate to stay with Steve and Diane.

The house was decorated absolutely beautifully which created such a nice environment for our stay. All the holiday decorations were such a nice touch. Steve and Diane were also incredibly sweet and checked in with us often. The deck was also a beautiful place to look out at all the night stars!

Nothing major- woke up with a few mosquito bites, but that's staying on Hawaii for you!

We loved Ha'le Kiana! We regret not booking more days there. The location was perfect for trekking up Haleakala for sunrise and exploring upcountry. The views of Maui and the stars at night from the decks were AMAZING!

"Very pleasant homely stay in a luxurious house"

Beautiful house in a residential area,with a gorgeous sea view on the terrace.Plenty of space in the living room. Very warm welcome.Very convenient to go to sunrise in volcano.The owners did everything they could to help in anyway.

The problem is this is an expensive stay(the house is worth it) but when you arrive at sunset from hana as we did and leave at 4,you do not have much time to enjoy it !!! but this is not the owners' fault !!
