Very quiet, good location for Ben Nevis

Strange smell on the lower floor

De locatie is echt top en alles is om het huis heen is super netjes. En alles was ook super compleet! Het huisje heeft mooi uitzicht via de dakramen. En de omgeving is lekker stil met alleen geluiden van rivier nabij en waterval verderop. Echt top zo dicht bij fort william maar toch buiten de drukte.

Gehorig huisje, buren waren overduidelijk te horen terwijl we niet het idee hadden dat die overdreven luid waren. Ook de ventilatoren van de badkamers hebben hun beste tijd gehad, die maakten behoorlijk lawaai. Als dat te verbeteren valt is het echt fantastisch.

Utsikten från lägenheten var fantastisk och boendet var mycket fräscht och väldisponerat. Tillgång till tvättmaskin var också ett stort plus. Vi hade kunnat stannat hela vår vecka i Skottland här då det var en bra utgångspunkt att utforska ifrån.

Övervåningen var fruktansvärt varm men så var det också väldigt varmt för årstiden. Vi saknade handdukstork alternativt krokar att hänga upp handdukar och andra saker på.

Quiet, cozy, spacious, well-equipped

Would be good to have some hooks to hang the bath towels…

This place worked out great- right at the base of Ben Nevis surrounded by a field of sheep!

We couldn't get the oven to work. The stove was fine . . .

- lovely view - great location, close to supermarkets etc - super spacious - the washing machine was wonderful, as our daughter got sick on the way there because of the windy roads on the way from the Cairnsgorms

Not much! Table could be bigger for 4 persons. There were no blinds in the sleeping room upstairs, waking us up a bit early.

Location, facilities, professional approach. Most supermarkets are close by although the property is in a rural area in midst of nature

I didn’t liked that we weren’t informed when is heavy rain the main road gets flooded. Our plan was to check out at 8am , and had to wait until 11:00 . Do check the weather if you are planing to stay here!

Nestled in the shadow of Ben Nevis at the bottom of a private driveway, this is a great base to go exploring from. The property offers a lot, with a good sized twin room on the ground floor with separate shower and loo, and plenty of room to hang coats and place walking boots without taking them upstairs to the main living area. This section contains a double room with ensuite shower room. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. The lounge area is huge which was good as the bedroom offered only a small amount of storage for clothing, so our suitcases lived in the lounge. The property offers a lot of small welcome touches, along with all the usual things you would expect from a self-catering unit. We met the owners who were very nice and friendly. There is a corner shop just along the road, or, an M&S food hall about 5 minute drive away.

Nothing really to not like. It offers exactly what it says it does.
