Self contain apartment on the Barbican 3 bed

Lots of stairs, but location made up for the number of stairs.

Very nice and clean we will come back with love.

Nothing good

There is a very bad smell in the house The bathroom is horrible on the top floor You don't stay alone in the house, you have a shop downstairs that is not comfortable at all In the shower the water is very little The bathroom is very small

Great property right in the heart of the Barbican, perfect location for seeing all of the city centre and experiencing the amazing pubs and food Plymouth has to offer. Very clean and lovely bedrooms. Decor was great we loved it.

We had a bit of a nightmare stay. This isn't the first time we stayed either-last time we stayed my friend left a review commenting on what we weren't happy with and we hoped things would've been rectified, we could cope with it as a last minute option as we were only staying for the weekend for a fleeting visit to move items into storage. We were happy the camera had been moved from downstairs entrance hall as whilst we understood this was for security reasons, the camera should not have been facing inside the property. The kitchen floor was very slippery, it appeared someone had split oil on it and attempted to clean it up badly. The kitchen had no bin bag so we had to leave all our rubbish on kitchen side. Light in bathroom kept turning on and off intermittently, going to the bathroom was like stepping into a rave. The whole place smelt damp and mouldy- in cold weather it would've been a nice touch to at least turn heating on before guests arriving. When we arrived the radiator was off the wall in the living room, apparently a previous guest had sat on it. Whilst we understand this was difficult to get fixed before we arrived, we should've been made aware of it beforehand. Living room carpet was filthy, my friend was wearing white socks that were black on the bottom after walking around the house. He also got locked out of his room at which point I was out and had to contact the owner to find out how to open it, another thing we should've been made aware of. Latch on front door not working. Downstairs bedroom hard to open. One chair in living room was broken and should've been removed before arrival as this presented a serious hazard considering my Mum fell off a broken chair before and hit her head on the wall requiring her to be hospitalised so I am exceptionally wary of things like this. There was mould in bathroom due to extractor fan being blocked, the bathroom floor was also filthy.

not very clean (especially the kitchen draws), and there was black mould in the shower. Most of the radiators were hanging off the walls, and we had difficulty getting into the property as the text sent to me with instructions wasn’t received until after making further contact.

Location was great. Right in Barbican. All shops, bars and cafes right at your door. Easy door pad instead of using a key, just entering a code

Family went down to Plymouth for a wedding, had all our dresses. No wardrobes in any rooms, nothing to hang our things. Had to use back of chairs. Holes in living room walls look unsightly. No hoover.
